These are both correct. If he attacks Vanity, and his troops are able to survive in Vanity's world, then he can lock Vanity into a defensive battle. During that time, he won't be able to launch any new attacks, but also won't be able to be attacked himself.

From how I understand it your offense has no relation to your defense turn. You can only be invaded by one Keeper at a time, but you can invade multiple other Keepers. Remember the case with the Gilded Branch's guild leader? She was about to loose, but the giant guy used a ticket to invade her attacker, killed him off and that cancelled the invasion that was invading her.

Time to Shine indeed, I find myself hoping that the Heroc make this a serious battle, and maybe even defeat the foreign keeper, claiming his or her worlds. Not sure it will happen, but as I understand it, the longer they manage to keep the battle going, the longer it takes for him to come to be placed against a new opponent as well. So, even if they don't win, they can give Dale more time to gtow.

And if it were anyone else, he wouldn't have said that much. But Tsubaki is the one mortal he feels he can fully trust. And if she DID get the idea to act against him... there are a number of deities who would rain down upon her before she could act on those desires

I am a little worried about Tsubaki's reaction and its possible Dale might be sharing to much about Keepers with her. I mean he piratically admitted to her that whoever kills him will become the next Keeper.

A world filled with powerful monsters... that gets dangerous the further out you go, and is designed to help people train and earn combat experience... That sounds an AWFUL lot like Fyor xD

I hope Dale makes a world of monsters. I've thought about that for a while now but with the Heroc's reactions, a monster world is definitely going to be needed. A world that only exists for people to earn exp and fight powerful monsters. It could even be designed so that the farther out you go the more dangerous it gets to prevent people from dying as soon as they arrive. I imagine it would be a relatively safe way, to always have strong monsters too with them being in another world and all.
