Conjoining of Paragons Chapter 41
Added 2022-08-31 18:01:01 +0000 UTCI have had awful luck with power outages lately — I lost about half this chapter when one caused the document not to save, but I have rewritten the bits I lost.
The next thing you’ll get from me is a one-shot I started back in June. After that, I plan to either write a couple more CoP chapters or finally get back to some Ashes of Chaos.
If you guys have any preferences between the two, go nuts in the comments and it may sway me if I’m torn when the time comes.
I would also like to remind you all that monthly subscriptions switch over to the next month on the 1st. If you paid with a debit card or have the auto-renew setting off but would like to continue your patronage, you will need to pledge again once your payment is processed.
Patreon is also just buggy in general, so if you plan to continue your patronage, I recommend checking the status of your pledge in another day or so regardless of your settings. Keep in mind that all the payments don’t usually finish processing until about 4:00 PM EST on the 1st, so I’d recommend checking in after that.

The webpages on ACI100.com don't update automatically. There are days when we can get the chapter up for Patreon, but the person uploading (usually my editor, Athena) is in a rush, running errands, or has to do things for her other job and can't put it on the table of contents page. When in doubt, I always reccomend going through the link directly to it on Patreon, and failing that, all links have a set format. In the future, all links are aci100.com/(fic abbreviation)(chapter number). So, for example, chapter 19 of CoP is aci100.com/cop19. Hope that helps!

She's not exactly the most stoic or stable individual, and from her perspective, the guy she likes just blew her off abruptly. It would be good to at least have some resolution to this, rather than letting it become like AoC - where IIRC, we still haven't got past Tracey's death
