Ongoing invasions wouldn't be cancelled. The army was still sent from a Rank 1 world, and have had no contact with the world since it was sent, so they are still considered a Rank 1 invasion

Logically it makes sense that it would keep going on, but the way it is phrased seems a bit ambiguous. I will admit though that it is nice knowing the exact mechanics about resetting.
