Seacat 0.68b - Offense and Defense

Dear heroes!

Happy belated workers' day, everyone. A great fête this day, where I come from. Together with the 27th of April, the Day of Battle Against the Occupiers (i.e. the fascists), the 1st and 2nd of May usually form a traditional "week off" back in Slovenia. One of those four points on the calendar that divide up the year, along with the collective summer holidays in high summer, Reformation Day and Day of the Dead in autumn, then Christmas and New Year in winter.

Can't say I felt it here and now. With lockdown and a continent between, time whirled around and here we are in May. Apparently it's 2021, but sometimes I wonder if it's maybe not still 2020.

Then I look back at the Seacat rules livre and realise that I have done a wee bit of work on it since then.

Many days I feel annoyed with myself. This process should be faster than a page or two a day! Especially this section, where a lot of it involves me editing, refining, and reworking parts from older manuscripts of seacat and brêve seacat.

But it's not.

That said. That said.

This update is nice. We've got:

Going forward, the next big chunk will be getting the extras in there: guides for making them and a chrestomathy of creatures. With others of those going into ZOA, padding out that slim volume.

So, that's nice.

I think I'll also soon be able to announce two more things:

Maybe that will finally mean I'll be getting a hair better at this marketing thing, too!

But, till then, please find attached the gloriously named Seacat 0.68b.

Final final EDITED v2 Ready for Print v3.0. :P

Cheers and Happy Children's Day*, Everyone!

Love that 12-panel illustration in the beginning!

I thinknid get in a lot of trouble with the woman in the first pic. Always love to see the light bulb heads.
