It's not a matter of them being too powerful. Rather, the gems each hold only one type of energy, whether ki, mana, spiritual, or natural. So creatures like these wouldn't be able to survive in the reality gems. In the more stable worlds formed by all four types, they would be able to survive, but it would need to be a world that was well-enough developed to have enough stars for them to use as breeding grounds and homes.
