Last 24 Hours till Our Golden Age launches

Dear heroes,

It's been ... it's been a heck of a month getting everything ready for the launch, nailing down the production and scope, preparing the assets, and more. But here we are, last 24 hours. We're making the OGA and the Guidebook physical.

First, and very important to me (and possibly to you): hero discounts on physical stuff. These books wouldn't be possible without you, so you're all getting a discount on the shipping on your pledges. There were different things we tried to figure out, like a special early-early bird landing page and other stuff ... but in the end, the best way to do it (and keep data in house) is to use your patreon signup addresses to give you a discount on shipping. I'm not 100% on what the exact amount will be (so don't hold me to precise numbers), but I think it'll be around $10 per order. If you sign up with a different email or something wonky happens, I'm here - just reach out.

Second, PDFs of the books and everything - you're getting all of them. For the higher tiers, I'll put them in the patreon shop and link them to the tier, for the others ... posts, as usual.

Third, there's going to be a printed bonus early bird adventure if you signup early. Which is nice. But also, there are going to be limited edition voidwalkers, signed and doodled, like with the UVG. I think we'll do about 250 or 300 of those. They're going to be dark cloth and foil to fit with the UVG voidwalker.

Fourth ... um ... there was definitely a fourth. Hah, I've been up for 18 hours working on the last visuals. Oh, right, tomorrow at launch we'll have a livestream launch party.

There we go! This undying crabman and an ultra-ghost in a cowboy suit have a box set to share.

• obviously, a box, with a little drop table inside.

• dices. Nice and yellow.

• a tour guide's screen for gallivanting around the civilized world.

• a nice big tour map in the style of the Supranational Geographic.

• the VLG, with a nice pretty cover, lovely layout by Gontijo, and including the majority of the Lexicon of the Vastlands as a bonus (now is also the time if there's anything you want to see written up or explained!)

• oh, right, and the main Our Golden Age book itself!

It's honestly been very useful for me going through this process over the last month because it let me really purify and hammer out the content of the game, and nail how I want the three mini-adventures in the book to introduce the travel and estate mechanics, and then wrap around to a story arc that gives one possible reason to travel all over the known and the unknown vastlands.

Some things also got cut, so they're now stretch goals ... and if those don't happen, well, they're PDFs you'll be getting as I snip and cut over the next days and weeks and months.

I had to make this cool little picture to summarize the last month and a half. Oof.

Still, I feel really good and looking forward to the next month. There'll be a lot of drawing and writing and - pleasantly - less terrified running around, cutting out bits of book and throwing it to the vultures of fortune, modifying campaign visuals, and whatnot.
