I hardly have words. Thank you all for making this possible. Your support over the years, understanding over the last months, and immense turnout over the last few days.
I feel incredibly grateful and humbled. Also, to be honest, exhausted and sleep-deprived.
All the stretch goals, achievements, are reached and breached. I’ll admit, in the heady first 24 hours, I thought of additional things I could do, but while changing my daughter’s diaper, as she giggled at me, reason reasserted itself. We’re still discussing precisely what achievements to add for a wave 3, but all of them will be product quality improvements (things like book ribbons, alternate color dice) or reissues (UVG1E postcards for example), that won’t have me spread more thinly than I had planned.
Our original planning and preparation was very thorough and I now have all the assets (cards, maps, books, screen) laid out - what’s left is the content: writing and art. So, over the next some months, my priority is completing these two books in such a way that all of you can be proud of the art you made possible. And the map and cards and screen, of course.
I’ll be sharing the works here as we go, including the in-progress pieces and all the final works. First: the laid out Vastlands Guidebook, finally. Some heroic typohunters are going through it already and I’ll start on the sprucing Monday. Expect it soon.
But now, for the weekend (as it begins here), my other vital priority: some relaxation with the girls. Hopefully also some rest! 😂

2024-08-04 05:26:43 +0000 UTCNo - pananthropy isn’t out yet. It’s a kind of compendium of the different types of “humans” in OGA - a monster manual of sorts. I think I shared parts of it as teasers, but not yet the whole thing (not least because I still need to write part of it). The Grand Map 2 is sized differently and expands to cover the whole Circle Sea and points east too. But the points in the UVG are the same!

It's a testament to all of the work you do promoting/supporting your community. Thank you! I've fallen into the void(box), and I'm looking at the Add-Ons for the campaign (and I need to dig through old posts here, as I'm not as Patreon attentive as I would like): is SDM Codex 2: PANANTHROPY something you released on the Stratometaship? (it's not coming up in the searchbar) I also was sleeping on UVG 2e (though I have the digital copy, thank you) and have been wondering if the Grand Map 2 is a reprint of the 1e long map or if it features new content. This looks like a good time to pick it up if it has added sites to the 1e version.
