Yellow Land Complete + Mid May Greetings

Greeting

Good heroes, hello!

I must say, it feels like the last 4-6 months were two years long. The baby has become a toddler and started her creche and is now running around and talking. A newborn joined us and has become a little human. Something resembling sleeping through (most) of the night has returned to our household. And, thanks to the toddler in the creche, I have gone through more different cold viruses in the last months than I would usually go through in … well … two years.

I feel like I’m behind on all my projects, but likewise, I know I’m giving them all my energy and time.

I guess it is what it is!

Yellow Land

This week I finally dug into the Yellow Land (region) and got it written up. All 22 pages … here, for you! Includign [sic]:

I’ve also been working on the second chapter: the Hollow House adventure skeleton that with one including mechanics for generating towns and regions … convenient since the Yellow Land has a lot of towns.

That means the core lands are … done! Well, done for a first pass. I need to now revise the Red, Orange, Blue, and Purple lands to update them with the new layout and give them all the pretty tables. I’ll post the full lands section shortly.

And Hollow House, the second adventure skeleton. Then … then we’ll do the Lands Above.

Other Stuff

I’ve run a first (second?) test of a small faction mini-system I’m working on that’s derived from A Quiet Year, Decapolis, and some other faction/story games I’ve been fiddling with in the background. It was fun and shows promise. Doubt if it’ll fit into OGA though, haha.

Conclusions

Ok, that’s it for the short update! Off to take care of a child!

Take care, everyone. Catch you soon!

—Luka

I can only thank my understanding and supportive wife, family and friends. Without them … no chance.

In a similar situation with my own toddler, don't know how you've pulled this off despite it. Amazing piece, art and writing.

Looking good! Wishing your immune system all the best!
