Oh this one is great, it shows Violet's manipulation, her faults, but also Alex's issues. He's a normal guy, but also a very insensitive dude. Violet had no choice but to let things slide and he took that for love and agreeability. Hell, she was suffocating and he was complaining about her being no fun. He's also using his own cowardice to fool himself into thinking he's doing the right thing. Also, it seems there's a lot of people that hate her guts in the future.

Like I’m sure somebody is gonna put it together that something fishy is going on. I’m guessing it will be chase who is going to put together. Nobody else really knows Violet well enough to make that kind of deduction, and if they do know her well enough. Welp they’re already wrapped around violet’s finger.
