Buying used server gear can get you some pretty bargains... but it's not without risk, as oftentimes equipment can be near the end of its life by the time it makes it to you. That's definitely the case with my HP TFT7600 Rackmount Console I bought back in 2021. Screws were falling out of it before I even got it out of the box, and it's only gotten worse since then.

Today, I'm finally replacing it with a brand new unit from UPG, the Uptyma 173RM17A, featuring a 17.3" 1080P IPS display, full 104-key keyboard, trackpad, and USB native peripherals.

But first... What am I drinking???
