In 2012, Valve fired a warning shot across Microsoft's bow with their first operating system, SteamOS. It was intended to put Windows on notice that they won't be the only game in town forever.
In 2022, Valve added Blackjack and... game compatibility. But does SteamOS 3.0 have what it takes to dethrone Windows as the OS of choice for gamers?

Oh nice! i7-8809G Hades NUC! I'd bet SteamOS 3.0 would run on that no problem. The graphics are Vega based and may be included in the standard HoloISO build. I'd give it a shot!

2022-05-26 00:16:19 +0000 UTCJust watched your video, will SteamOS 3.0 work on Intel's NUC Hades Canyon? I will pull it out of mothballs and rebuild it if you think it'll work ok ^_^ i know they made two different cpu/gpu models; my version is the higher end graphics one with more power. The fan drives me nuts though, i wish there was a way to fix that xD
