I reached a point where there was a semi-dramatic confrontation (similar to the retainer appearing in 9.5) and it felt like a pretty good spot to snip it off and start finalizing. Instead of that we're pressing for length. I want more blood. There will be a fifth scene and my BG artist Tarkade is already at work on it while I start animating with rough bg lines.
The decision to keep moving was based entirely on the fact that the ending cliffhanger would have felt identical to that of 9.5, and in a fit of shame and rage I amended another scene and kept walking.
I can't thank you all enough. I remain humbled by your patience and patronage.

I watched an interview you did that covered the history of Madness and I was stunned to learn that you animate every single frame by hand just to get the art to look and feel the way it does despite the tremendous amount of time and effort that requires. And this isn't like, some huge cash cow project, you put all that work in just for the love of the art and your fans. I personally feel humbled by your dedication to your craft, if anything.
