Pangi Dakraine Festival
Added 2018-09-28 09:41:03 +0000 UTCThe Dakraine is an annual festival held across many of the villages in Kinnaur. And the Dakraine festival at Pangi is the most famous Dakraine of them all.
This is my first attempt at making a documentary style video. I've been wanting to make such videos for a long time but getting the interviews was always my achilles heel.
Even here, I managed to get the interview 2 months after the festival was over. Ideally I should have done the opposite. And as a result I did not cover many of the important ceremonies in the festival. It is a learning process after all and hopefully I'll do better the next time.
