It was a bit tricky to get the shading right, she is mostly in the dark, and I still had to convey volume and shape somehow, there's a lot of form shadow and bouncelight, those things are difficult to figure out right off the top of my head, and it took me a few attempts. I love how she turned out in the end.
It's a good idea to experiment with values, plot out in advance where large blocks of light and dark go, and you might come up with unexpected ideas, like this cozy desert tent, with colored rugs hanging above her~
