Dusty and Fluttershy in the park

New drawing for Dusty,
I like the colors here, this drawing turned out very nice and soothing. I deliberately placed a dark background behind Fluttershy to add contrast. Tree and grass is blue because ponies have a lot of pink on them. There are so many variables all working together and depending on each, and it can quickly get overwhelming. It's hard to keep it all in your head when making a drawing. I wish I could spend more time rendering the background or shading and giving more detail, but this is as far as I can get.
I hope when I learn and practice some of the difficult things become second nature, I don't have to think as much how everything should work - so I have more time and more energy for smaller details, interesting backgrounds and new ideas. For example, I feel I am getting more confident with drawing wings ^^
