Well we finally got to see more of Inui, I do like her a lot both in her appearance and her serious and badass attitude. The reason why she can perform that "birdcage" technique is partly because of her insane speed which makes it very difficult to break out from it. One thing about the rules which is briefly mentioned in ep 8 is that the player who takes a shortcut to the next buoy is not allowed to go after that buoy until they touch eachother or they are in the same distance to that buoy. I mention this simply because even though I have seen this show many times I did not know that until recently but it makes sense because otherwise the "slower" player could take advantage of it and score an easy point.
