EliteMobs 7.3.13 poll - Pick the direction!
Added 2022-01-01 18:40:52 +0000 UTCAs promised, it is the 1st of January 2022 and we are ready to cast the first direction vote of the year!
EliteMobs 7.3.12 is about ready to get released, and I will be working on finalizing the last few touches (and working on Primis) as this poll counts down.
Once again, three options are presented before you. Once again, you are asked to pick one, and exclude two. What will you pick?
Remember that the last vote was 1 vote away from being something else! Every vote counts.
Arenas:
Wave-based survival of premade arena challenges! Includes special rewards and per-arena scoreboards.
This is a necessary update before the true Dungeon update.
Aurelium Skills integration:
Integration with AureliumSkills and a bunch of other RPG plugins has been requested for a while, and thus far has been flatly denied.
This is your chance to prove that there is genuine interest in this feature and features like it. The integration with Aurelim Skills would open the gates to possible further integrations with other plugins, as it would require a framework which could easily be used for other things.
If this option loses with a low percentage of the votes, it will not be up for voting again.
Bedrock-friendly menus:
Bedrock-friendly menus (aka chest menus) are necessary for players using bedrock who wish to interact with some of the more advanced EliteMobs features (/em , quests...). Unfortunately this is not something that can be added quickly or easily, as it requires remaking every book menu and maintaining both the book and the chest menus with feature parity.
This would be fairly time consuming, but it also seems to be something that people keep asking for - so let's put it to a vote!
The poll will stay up for a week. EliteMobs 7.3.12 will be released in the meantime, as it seems fairly stable and bug-free.
Happy adventuring!

I can see the skills being added to make a good D&D/ RPG world created and ran by players type of scenario if given the opportunity. At the same time it could really make some silly enchant and skill play become into a specific class a player is trying to create become true in minecraft, which could then lead to God tier characters but if EM ranks with players as well it could make some nasty mobs as well for others. Also seeing the skills added might be cool to implement into the dungeons as well to make Rouge like characters or spell casters of multiple varieties. Alot could come from this addition I believe but it is in the hands of many.
2022-01-01 20:12:59 +0000 UTCI use a plugin with enchantments as well as an RPG plugin which still increases the damage value my weapons do. (mcMMO does like +5 dmg) (my custom enchants deals 2x Damage if entity hit is less than 50%, another enchant lets my melee deal 3x the damage for half of my health being cut off.)
2022-01-01 19:52:49 +0000 UTCActually it's worse than that, elitemobs overrides the damage dealt to elites completely so everything just counts as a normal elitemobs attack only taking into account the weapon the player has equipped. This is necessary to make sure things don't get incredibly broken, but it's such a hard correction that it really limits what rpg plugins can offer.

2022-01-01 19:16:20 +0000 UTCIt would integrate the levels of Aurelium Skills into the threat calculation of EliteMobs, thereby effectively making it so you can increase your elitemobs level through it, and it would scale damage differently to integrate the various levels and skills of aurelium into elitemobs in a way that scales at least mostly correctly

2022-01-01 19:00:59 +0000 UTCHow would Aurelium Skills be integrated? Meaning - how would it be different than running Aurelium Skills as a stand-alone plugin? The explanation in the post a few days ago, and once again in the post above does not explain what “integrating” Aurelium Skills actually does. All it says is that by voting for this option it will “ open the gates to possible further integrations with other plugins” but makes no mention about what benefit adding Aurelium Skills to EM would have outside of running this as a stand alone plugin. I really want to vote for this option, but am having a hard time seeing what this adds.
