New secret game mode - looking for testers and early feedback

Greetings, supporters!

If you are reading this message, then that means I got really sidetracked.

Somehow, a little fun side adventure into generating dungeons has (d)evolved into me playing around with the concept of a full on new game mode.

What you see in the video is a tiny slice of what I've been working on.

As you might be aware, we ran a poll recently about what we should do with the BetterStructures world generation, and the thing that won was dungeon generation with EliteMobs integration.

Now, we could've gone the simple route and just left it at that, but honestly as we were working on it I saw so much more potential that I just couldn't help but increase the scope of what this means quite significantly.

So, here for the first time, I am publicly announcing what we are planning to actually make out of that - a generation system for an extraction-based game mode for EliteMobs, which can be run in any survival-like MC server or as a dedicated game mode.

Some of you probably don't know what I mean by an extraction game mode. The closest example of one I can point to is Dark and Darker as it is the only extraction game I know that is not a shooter. To be clear, I am not trying to copy that game, I can't even particularly say that I am a huge fan of it, but the game mode I am working on is going to use many of the systems that extraction games have.

You might alternatively be familiar with other extraction games - escape form tarkov, helldivers 2, ghosts of tabor, hunt: showdown, deep rock galactic, zero sievert (I have personally only played deep rock galactic and dark and darker).

That means a few things: (configurable) if you die in the dungeon, you lose everything you brought in. (configurable) You are only allowed to leave the dungeon via exit points randomized in the map. (configurable) This is a lobby-based game mode with an emphasis on PVE combat, and there will be a X minutes timer that players must extract before running out or lose everything they brought in. (configurable) The loot in the dungeon will be plentiful, but players will only be able to keep it if they manage to safely extract. (configurable) Each floor will have a level, so players can progress through levels by moving down into the dungeon. (configurable) Dungeon generation is randomized, but it is not randomized every time. The system will generate X maps which will have Y spawn points and Z exit points, and will randomize which map is used each time and where players spawn, meaning that it is fairly unlikely that players will learn the maps, though learning them isn't really going to cause any problems either as the contents of the map will also be randomized.

Aside from doing some module work and prototyping some bosses, we have also started working on some models that we plan to release for this tileset:

Now, I honestly can already tell that this game mode might become huge for Minecraft servers if done right. I also understand some people will want a pvp focus, might want to run it without elitemobs, and so on.

Currently, I am looking for people interested in being some of the first to run the game mode, and be both active testers but also be an active part of development by actively providing feedback about what we are working on.

Some key questions and feedback right at the start will focus around loot quality and quantity, match times, how the world border close in on players as the timer runs out, difficulty, performance, the flexibility of the system, potential for pvp and so on. Even fundamental things like should this be a dedicated plugin need to be analyzed.
