First ever Patreon physical reward! And limited time collectible!

Greetings, adventurers!

So, at the end of last month and the start of this month I found myself working 16-19 hours a day every day, and I once again ruined my wrist.

I had to take a break, and during that break I looked at 3d printers again, as I have been doing regularly for about a year now.

Except, this time, I pulled the trigger and got not just one, but two 3d printers! For those knowledgeable in these things, one is a filament printer (pictured above) and one is a resin printer (arriving late October).

Now, I am already planning to use this in a couple of upcoming projects - you may be able to tell that from the fact you can see my camera recording a timelapse there!

The only reason I can afford these incredibly cool tools is thanks to you, the supporters of my projects, so I thought of a really fun way to give a token of my appreciation back to you.

The plan is as follows: If you are an active Patreon supporter, and the amount you have backed in the lifetime of your membership exceeds $100, you will be eligible to get a free physical model of the ETD basic tower, which I will soon be doing a lot of work for!

Disclaimer: the model will just be 3d printed and not painted, I unfortunately lack the skills and time to paint every model :(. Further disclaimer: the model is free, shipping costs are not. The 3d printer optimizes the weight so it is incredibly light. I am planning to make the model about 100mm in height. I promise I'm not running a shipping scam here, shipping receipts will be available upon request.

Now, if you think ETD is a curious choice when the main project you are backing is probably either EliteMobs or BetterStructures, you will be happy to know that this is not the last physical reward I will be doing, and I am somewhat hoping to do an EliteMobs-related one before the end of the year to celebrate the final release of Primis. That model will be of the final boss, which should be really cool.

Coming at some point before the end of the year, a 3d printed version of the final boss of Primis! Same conditions will apply for both physical rewards.

But back to the topic at hand; this reward will be running until the end of November!

But what if you want the tower / Primis final boss but you do not meet the requirements?

Well, you have three solutions, based on what you might want to do.

- You can increase your sub to the $100/mo sponsor rank, which will give you the ability to get your server promoted in several places (including in the several youtube videos I am currently working on)

- You can change your sub to be billed yearly, which should get you over the $100 lifetime mark if you are on the $10/mo or $15/mo tier.

- Or, coming soon, you can get it from my Patreon store! It is currently not open, and I have not yet done the math on how much the materials will cost so I don't know the price yet (read below to find out why), but I will do my best to keep it affordable.

When is this happening?

Now, this is a bit of an early announcement. I could print everything with my filament printer, but I want to make sure that what you guys get is as high quality as I can make it, and the resolution of the resin printer that is getting here at the end of the month is about 10x better (and 2x more expensive, yikes!).

However, once it gets here, I plan to run the printer 24/7 until everyone who wants one gets one!

How do I get it?

I will be printing and sending these models in the order that you ask for them! I honestly don't know how many of you are interested in getting this very unique collectible, maybe absolutely no one is interested (aside from me, of course, I'm 100% printing one for myself!) but if you are interested just reply to this post saying you want one! I will let you know if you meet the requirements to get it for free based on your Patreon data.

Once I have begun printing I will send you a DM asking where you want to have it shipped and sort the shipping fees from there.

Final disclaimers: I will do my best to ship to wherever you are, but if you are somehow currently residing in North Korea or some other place that can't get packages from Portugal then I'm afraid I can't do anything. Models will be slightly modified to make better use of the 3D printer, adding more 3D detail. Models will not be painted - this is something I can maybe arrange with an artist if there is a real interest, but it requires a lot of effort. All packages will be sent with live tracking numbers. Shipping and custom fees, if any, apply.  Keep in mind that I reside in Portugal, so shipping will be done from here. Separate posts will be made to announce that the printing has begun.
