Not only was I on a wrestling forum in which we were already discussing the near certainty that this man killed his wife and kid, but the news broke during the last hour of the broadcast. WWE trucked on through to the end, almost certainly aware of what the nation was learning at that very moment. And what were they broadcasting as the police announced Benoit the prime suspect in a double murder-suicide? It was Wrestlemania 20, the main event in which Benoit just won the World Title, and he's hugging the late Eddie Guerrero in the ring. That may have been the most uncomfortable three hours of television that I, for some reason, subjected myself to as I chatted with buddies on the internet.
