Game progress
- Added James' chapter 7
- Added geometric shapes to the details tab for clothing
Art progress
- Finished the infirmary background
- Finished the bedroom background
- Finished the training room background
- Finished the dining hall background
Didn't get much writing done in the first half as a lot of it was spent on drawing backgrounds. There's still more backgrounds left to draw, but Tailor Tales now boasts over 100 unique locations! With day/night versions that tallies up to way more.
Either way, drawing the locations for James' route has been a lot of fun as they are very diverse and allow me to use my creativity. Most of my time that I don't note down is spent researching different cultures and architectures. I'm not lying when I say I've spent days looking at different Chinese or Thai temples.
Hopefully I manage to get a couple of more chapters added before the end of the month! Also, I should really step back and restructure my chapters a bit better, as they've been getting longer than my usual average.
I know you might say; hey longer is better! But I do have to keep in mind the pacing of the story, and remove any frivolous interactions that might bore the player :)
