Making a lot of progress on James' script! I've exceeded the 120k mark, with chapters having an average word count of 7000. Yes, that is basically two chapters in one, for most of James' route.
I've finally gotten to the point in James' route where I can write in a little bit of romance, which has been sorely lacking so far. James is definitely a slow burn romance... When will this happen? Well, you gotta wait until chapter 19... Hang in there! I never felt comfortable making MC or James fall in love with the other during the first half of the story when there's a clear power imbalance between the two.
Also, here are the results for James' chapter 12:
Eeyok seems to be the most popular choice in being the final decision, as well as being player's favourite response! Many people still decided to give James the Makoet in the end, because they're on his route after all, and they did enjoy his reaction, as well as MC's motivation for giving it to him.
7th route
As you may know, once James' route is finished, there will be a poll held for who the 7th route will be and Patreons can vote. It's either an existing side character or a new character. Due to Eeyok's popularity, I've already got a good concept for his route if he becomes the 7th route. To be prepared! Of course, the 7th route is still up to you, it could very well be Nornus or Kevin :)

2020-05-19 03:49:55 +0000 UTCEeyok is like a little brother he is so adorable!!! I think Billius wouldn't be a bad option...or Kaleb... though with Billius you got James' sister to worry about lol. She's fully into Billius, overwhelmingly so. She flusters him but I don't see him romantically interested in her, he seems to be more into the MC. At the very least more comfortable and sweet.

But I wasn't sure how comfortable you'd be with a lesbian romance. So my next thought went to Kevin. Let's be real here, he's 1000% my type. He has a lot in common with MC (unless the tidbits we learned about him changes in his own route) and I live for his blushy face. However now that I've met Eeyok and Nornus I'm really torn. Because they're both so sweet and kind to MC. My heart melts for them. Honestly the fact that you're even thinking about another route makes me happy so I'll be totes fine with whoever you choose. Or I should say whoever gets the most votes. 😄

However, nothing is set in stone and we'll only know once the actual poll is held :) let's not forget there are other side characters as well! For example, there are some Kevin fans and even Alex fans.
