Game progress:
- Coded in James' chapters 15 & 16
- Neil's original VA has been replaced by a new one
Script progress:
- Gray's chapter 5 has been written
Art progress:
- Drew the Forrester's headquarters background
- Drew a hallway background
- Finished James' 4th CG
- Finished James' alternate hairstyle and outfit variations
This month has gone pretty smooth! Finished all my goals, added two chapters and wrote another two. James' chapters take so long to code, ugh. At least Gray's script is starting to shape up.
On the subject of Neil's VA. The original VA was done by a friend of mine, who didn't mind voicing Neil (it was an experiment at the time). I ended up liking it so much, I gave everyone voices, which are the soundbites you keep hearing. Eventually I needed more work done for Neil, but my friend wasn't interested anymore. I never could replace Neil's VA, as I wanted to find someone who sounded similar to Neil's signature nasally voice. Well - I made another friend who had a pretty similar voice! He agreed to do the voices for me and this month, he finished them up. They are of much higher quality than the original, and of course, more varied. Next month's update will include Neil's new VA soundbites and replace the original.
Attached to this post is a few examples of Neil's new VA! I hope you like it, even if it might not be an exact replacement.
I hope you'll enjoy next month's update, as chapter 14 is quite an interesting one! You go on a date with Nornus ;)
