Tailor Tales lets you reread chapters. Chapters are - at the start - locked, preventing you from rereading them. You can unlock chapters by playing the game as usual; you press the continue button in the main menu to proceed to the next chapter. When you've read a chapter, you've unlocked that chapter and you can reread them.

The thing that confuses many Patreons, is that, as a perk for being a Patron, you unlock Neil's and Dimitri's full route, so you can read from wherever you left off in the free version.

Rereading a chapter does NOT unlock the next chapter. Rereading a chapter does NOT count your fierce/kind points.

The best way to play is to set the guy as your main route and use the Continue button in the main menu to proceed the story. The chapter selection menu is only when you're rereading, not when you're doing a full playthrough of the route.

Dimitri's epilogue is locked for new Patreons, because I wanted players to experience the epilogue that they had originally gotten from one of the endings in the natural way.

To unlock Dimitri's epilogue, you must set him as your main character and reach the epilogue the normal way (play through his entire route), or to select his chapter 27 and then click "new route" as this will start a new route from that chapter. You will have to reread chapter 27, but in the main menu, you can now continue to the epilogue the normal way (and therefor, unlock it).
