I've mostly been brainstorming the past couple of weeks. Tailor Tales will feature a new mechanic where you can enter fashion events, complete requests (different from important clients where you must match the design exactly) and collect parts of an outfit.

Due to you lovely Patrons, I'm able to outsource another artist who may be able to draw clothing for Tailor Tales, leaving me to focus on the story side of the game. Right now though, it's still in its planning stage and I still need to get a concrete idea of how it's going to work.

For now, here's sort of a new mock-up:

The main idea is to give each clothing part a certain style, which you can then combine together to create a "fashion style". I'm hoping to add these fashion styles as requirements for the chapters as well, forcing the player to change their looks more often (not for Plus users though).

Either way, I hope the fashion system will become more elaborate and fun this way, instead of mindlessly grinding clients. This way you still get requests, but at least you can try and design something pretty - with the reward being part of an outfit, which can be a shirt, dress, shoes, hairstyle etc.

Neil's 1st side story has been completed as well, because Joselina finally has her sprite finished! Her sprite will reflect your CG colours, so she'll look different for everyone. She can be just as expressive as the rest of the cast! Joselina also has a voice of her own, but you can turn it off in the main menu under Settings > Audio. The first time you try playing a side story, the game will automatically ask you if you want to turn her voice on or off :)

I hope people will enjoy the side story. I'd love getting feedback on it because I want to know how popular PoV (point of view) stories would be from the guy. If there's a lot of interest, I'll try writing more.
