Go to your local files and browse to this location:
(your profile name here) \AppData\Roaming\itch\apps\Tailor Tales Plus Early Access\Tailor Tales\www\save
Copy every file in there and paste them in a different location (your desktop perhaps).
Then let Itch update the game, because it may delete your save file. If you cannot load your game because it says an error, please copy and paste your save files back into the same location, then try again.
If Itch has updated your files before you've backed up your save file, it has unfortunately been lost and deleted. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. You must start a new game and enter the latest password.
Normal users get a free 3000 exp bonus so that they can easily earn money again to buy everything. They also unlock Dimitri's and Neil's entire route (same for Plus).

Ugh, that sucks...easy mistake to make, though, let me tell you THAT. But! Your instructions worked perfectly, so all we can hope is people see & follow them.

2019-03-04 02:32:16 +0000 UTCUnfortunately the deleted save file will happen to everyone. It's because of the Itch app, and my own fault, because I accidentally uploaded my own save file. Trying to fix my mistake, I immediately removed it and updated the game. However, Itch basically thinks "Okay, that means remove save file" for every single person that updates. I unfortunately cannot find a way to make Ich not delete the save file :(
