(Caine has a small cameo in Aiden's route)
Last month was... super stressful. I had to draw 3 CGs (2 for Gray, 1 for Aiden), and this month I'll have to draw another 2.
The entire thing about working on two routes at the same time, just because someone else was writing Gray's route, is not as feasible anymore.
I'm very tempted to put Aiden content on hold (I'd still write his script every month, but wouldn't code any chapters for him), but I don't know how you all feel about that. It seems Aiden's route managed to gather a lot of fans so far.
Currently Gray's chapters 21 and 22 will be coded this month, and if everything keeps on schedule with no hiccups, we should see a completion of his route in August-September. After that, his route will most likely be edited to address the criticisms.
For now though, Aiden's route will be scaled down to only 1 chapter a month. It's otherwise too much work for me to handle all the CGs, the new outfits for all the sprites etc. Remember, I still have to write Aiden's route, draw all the art for both routes, code Aiden's chapters and quality check Gray's chapters... it's a lot!
Once Gray's route is finished, I can fully focus on Aiden and finish his route, too. Then I can start working on Eeyok's route! I hope everyone is excited about that one, but oh boy does it require a bunch of new art.

2022-03-22 13:25:09 +0000 UTCAw I love Aiden's route, such a rare character type, would be a shame for it to be put on hold for Gray's. If you're set on prioritizing Gray then I suppose it can't be helped, I can only hope it will be done quickly so you could get back to Aiden's route.

I may have some small issues with the naivety of the mc in his route, but I absolutely adore him (maybe slightly more than Cain)! The last thing we want is for you to burnout or for your work to suffer because you're trying to do too much. Take your time! 😊

Personally I feel super awful because I haven't played since halfway through James' route since I had to sell my PC 😅 (house space issues, plus waiting for Steam Deck) but seeing your monthly updates makes me want to play so bad!! Also as much as I'm normally a fan of Gray-like archetypes, I know I'll enjoy his route but I'm really looking forward to Aiden's too, especially after the latest preview oh my 👀
