Game progress
- Coded in James' chapter 18
- Added in two new waist options for skirts
Script progress
- James' chapters 21 and 22 have been written
- Gray's chapter 6 was written
Art progress
- Sketched out the design for Jed (Gray's route)
- Sketched out the design for Ron (Aiden's route)
- Updated Dimitri's sprite
Writing James' script took longer than usual, mostly because uh, it was 19k words for two chapters. These last chapters I've written definitely showcase the growth both James and MC have gone through. I hope people will like this 2nd act, since it's not set on Yool anymore. MC starts taking matters in her own hands and has more agency.
Gray's script is also on its way and I've been sketching out side characters as well. Gray's route is definitely very fluffy, a departure from James' route which has been very plot-heavy.
The second character (in the orange hoodie) I sketched is Ron, an online friend of MC in Aiden's route. He's a very sweet and wholesome guy. Ron was originally a girl when I came up with the characters. However, I changed him to a guy when I realized that in reality, your group of friends when playing a MOBA usually has you as the sole girl. So all of MC's friends are guys. Don't worry, Sarah is still in the route to play as the best friend!
I have a lot more art I need to finish this month as well, including another CG, another outfit for James, four new backgrounds... It never ends, does it? Haha.
I'm going to take a break and play Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town!
