A secret character in Moonstone Remix...
Added 2024-03-02 20:04:22 +0000 UTCI was today years old when a friend of mine told me he was disappointed that he couldn't befriend the dog in the new Persona 3 remake.
I asked him; so he gets his own cutscenes? Just a dog?
Yep, just cutscenes with a dog.
If a game is not only about romance, but allows you to create friendships as well... why not extend that towards another animal? That made sense to me.
People are always interacting with the animals within a game, and they all want a 'pet' option. There was quite an uproar when people found out they couldn't pet the dog in Zelda: Breath of the Wild (and its sequel!).
My wheels are turning.
So instead of getting cutscenes that raises affection with a love interest or friend in Moonstone Remix, you could meet a stray cat or dog and befriend them instead. They'd have their own small little story line. Perhaps you'd get a bonus scene of them with your favourite character as well. You get your own pet that you can bond with.
How's that sound to you all? A secret pet you can unlock and befriend?
And if I were to add a pet... should I choose a dog or cat? I'm inclined to add a cat since I am a big cat lover, but I'm always curious to hear your thoughts! :)

Can we get a bun bun (coming from a rabbit pet owner) hehe? I love it when you can interact with the animals in the game. The first thing I do is pet them (if the option exists) so having to befriend them in a game would be great. (Also disappointed Hamuko is not on the remake 🥲)

2024-03-02 20:39:17 +0000 UTCYeah it's upsetting that you can't in the remake. I hadn't gotten that far yet in my own playthrough but I've seen others that have played it. It's why I enjoy P3P even though I wish the female protagonist had a better weapon then that spear or whatever it was called, can't remember the exact word for the weapon.
