Zex & Glenn

Zex's route features his friend, Glenn. His route is modern slice of life combined with some supernatural elements.
Due to Glenn showing up earlier in Eeyok's route, people have already gotten a taste of this snarky blind boy, and have grown to like him. So much of course, they want him as a love interest.
Tailor Tales has unique routes for each love interest - I was always staunchly against a common route. This does mean each route is very long, and they take at least a year of development before it's finished.
However, I am able to code Zex's route in such a way so that you can end up with Glenn instead. Split his route, so to speak.
Splitting Zex's route with Glenn however, does mean sacrificing some things you've been used to before, such as:
Zex and Glenn will share a common route, roughly 17 chapters
Zex's and Glenn's own route will be roughly 10 chapters long
Most likely, there will be a single ending for each route only, no more passionate or innocent ending
There will be less CGs than the normal 10 for each love interest
Development time will also be slow once the split happens, because I'll have to write a new chapter for two characters
As you can see, splitting the route does mean you'll have less content overall than if Zex or Glenn were their own unique routes.
If Zex's route won't get split, Glenn will NOT have his own route after Zex as the 9th love interest. I would probably hold a poll instead to see which side character should be the 9th love interest.
Hence why I'll leave it up to you, my Patreon supporters. After all - you're supporting me developing this game, so you get some input as well!

I also love the passionate and innocent endings, plus I would really enjoy playing Zex's route like the rest. Glenn is amazing but in my book he works better as a side character, not the main LI.

2024-07-19 17:41:17 +0000 UTCHonestly it's hard to decide but since I hadn't really been able to get through everyone of the guys on the game so far, real life keeping me busy and also got a new computer which means restarting everything, I have no opinion on Glenn. He is really cute and it would be great to have him have his own route but I'm attached to the passionate/innocent endings for each route so if it's not able to be done for both of them then I'll just won't have that much of an opinion for them. If they can get both endings somehow then I'm all for it.

I'd like at least passionate/innocent endings if possible (even if it means waiting longer for them to be finished or paying for a small Kickstarter)
