Monthly update #48

A little later than usual!

As based on the poll, Eeyok's epilogue will now feature two entirely different endings that don't merge. The sexual content will likely feature the same dialogue and CG, but everything else is different.

Since I'm still writing Eeyok's epilogue, I'm a little behind than usual. I'll see how it pans out at the end of the month, otherwise I may have to release chapters 26/27 separately for each ending.

Currently I'm also considering porting Tailor Tales over to mobile. That does require building the game from the ground up in another engine. I would only port over the stories, not the fashion system, and there would be no 18+ content due to Google Store's ratings. An iOS version would likely not be in the cards due to Apple's own strict guidelines with third party developers, but we'll see if it's easy to port to iOS or not in the first place. This does take a lot of time and effort to optimize the large images used in Tailor Tales (each character uses quite a lot of images to create their outfit, hair, and expressions).

But considering how large mobile gaming is, I figured this is something people would really like. The app would be free with some ads between and during the chapters. There will likely be an option to purchase each route without ads so you can read it without any interruptions. Mind you, Tailor Tales' story for each route is 135k+ words, which is A LOT more than your regular mobile otome (I think they may peak around 30k-40k words).

Either way, it's something I'm considering! It does take up a lot of work since the game needs to be recreated in a new engine so we can port it to mobile.

No news on Moonstone Remix sadly, it's at the hands of my programmer who does a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

I do want to show off Eeyok's mother! Had to draw a portrait for her eventually.

I've also been working on Zex's route, outlining his story and even writing parts of his first chapter.

Which brings me back to a quick question, since I'm writing Zex's first chapter:

Do you NEED to meet the love interest (Zex) in the very first chapter? Or are you okay if he shows up in the second chapter?

To give some context, it works nicely as a cliffhanger where the MC is just about to meet Zex at the end of chapter 1. However, I could simply shift scenes and make her meet Zex in the first chapter after all, though that does make the chapter significantly longer than usual.

I know I personally don't like it when I'm on some guy's route and I don't meet him until way later.
