News: August 2025 (Part 1)

Going to quickly address a few things. No new content poll for this month. DI will still get the planned pregnancy content in this month's release. There may be a new scene if time allows. There will still be the usual news post on the 15th focused on actual development progress. I just feel like I should give an update sooner rather than later.

I'm still going to give itchio more time before making any sort of adjustments to my older game pages on there. If need be, I could split the free demos into their own page and link to the full/paid version. This would mean the paid version remains deindexed, but the new page created for the free version would be indexed. Anything you may have already paid for would not be affected. It would just be the moving of the free versions for the sake of product visibility on the site.

The DI roadmap in the previous news post is still accurate. However, there will be some adjustments to the game. These adjustments will take a little time to implement. This is why there will be no poll. The time I would normally spend on the poll content will need to be spent making some adjustments to DI. Let's go over that.

Dragon Incarnate will now have a SFW (censored) and NSFW version. As long as things remain as they are now with Patreon, the Patreon version will be the NSFW pre-patched version. Basically nothing will change here. Even for the free demo.

The SFW version will be the version available on other platforms such as itchio. Then there will be a free NSFW patch that will restore all of the adult content. Update schedules will not change. Pricing will not change. The NSFW patch will always be free, but obviously useless without the actual game.

I might not really need to do this right now, but I rather go through with it now while DI isn't too far along in development, rather than needing to do it later and having a mountain of work to do. I am aware that I could do the "bandaid fix" noted above. However, I would prefer to be prepared in the event that something like this happens again.

I did say quick, so that's enough. I might reply to this post if anything changes, as itchio does seem to be acting faster than expected.
