Movie Survey People

I always go see movies right when they open. Usually try and get the first showing if it works out, so I can get to work immediately after. But due to that, they always have survey people waiting outside the theaters wanting to ask me questions about the movie. In my head I'm always like "I really don't think you want that from me, yo." Do ya'll ever run into these people?

Yes at the Edward's I go to it seems to be common. I remember them doing surveys as well about trailers to gauge what we thought of the film before it released ahead of time.

lol they are literally getting to the point where they recognize me each week, and they know not to cross me. I have one of those stares that I think...communicates so much. I rarely have to express much more than that. They've left me alone. XD

Only happened to me once after a screening of Pearl. Figured I would jot something down since I did genuinely enjoy it.

In all the times I've gone to the movie theater, I've only encountered survey people maybe once or twice. And I don't even remember if it was on opening day. I tend to avoid them if they're there. I don't want to take time out to take their stupid survey. And it most likely contributes to a way of thinking about how to make a successful movie that I don't want any part of.

Nope. My go to spot every Friday for matinees is a Marcus Cinema outside of the city. Maybe it's an AMC, Regal, or Cinemark thing?

Nice. I’m always so on a mission to get my own review done that I don’t ever take the time. Plus I get paid for this lol

I go to the city pretty often, so whenever you try catching a film in its opening day, you get these surveys. The surveys are done via phone, however, so it's not really a hassle. Plus, you can get money for filling them out, so sometimes I try to go to these screenings asap to get the bag lol.
