2024-09-03 17:27:47 +0000 UTCyou can call them about it but they can't really do anything about noise coming from ongoing construction/building work (other then talk to them I guess) the police deal with things like noise from large partys that are blasting music, alarms going off etc its a matter for the council to deal with over here

2024-08-20 15:43:05 +0000 UTCNo idea how things work in the UK, but here in Austria you simply call the police when you have a noise complaint. The police then comes by and puts a stop to it. Normally people don't ignore orders from police officers (but I wouldn't put past your neighbour).

2024-08-20 14:04:22 +0000 UTCFor Rebecca, two things that might help with propranolol: If you're on "regular" propranolol, you might consider the extended release variety so you only have to take it once a day and might be less likely to forget it, and, depending on your GP, you may be able to get repeat prescriptions through the NHS app, which would allow you to request them at any time and (at least for me) without filling out a form with 1000 details.
