LOPs - a new family of operators for TouchDesigner that utilizes LLM intelligence as a creative toolset and enables developers/artists to interact and build with LLM models beyond the standard chat interface.

I have been working on this for almost a full year and there is endless things for me to explore and share with all of you. I will posting a lot more about this in the next week, maybe tomorrow. Expect a lot more from me and more regular updates covering techniques and more.

Cant seem to get the LOPs to install. I see that there is a bug but when I re do in install it does the same thing and closes out no terminal pop up.

[https://dotdocs.netlify.app/operators/pipelines/fal-ai/] For local generation, I have an update of ComfyTD that is LOPs enabled and fixes some things, but that covers almost every local stuff for image/video.

I will be creating more specific guides/tutorials that detail workflows to help clarify how LOPs could be utilized (maybe some polls as well to see what people want). And I also am very excited to improve the tools to be more functional for more people. It is definitely a non traditional use of TouchDesigner and utilizing some very new ideas on how to interact with software. I am not in any means suggesting it is a necessary learning for all TD users, especially in current alpha. But my core goal is to create something useful and modular for artists to access and explore these ideas - hopefully hacking on it / creating some really cool art with it. TouchDesigner empowers a beautiful mixture and range of design/art/development and I'm hoping LOPs allows and aligns for similar exploration. Thank you for the response. But I have on one side excitement too , on another side i am quite confused by LOPs and how it is useful, especially not to developers as you certainly are, but to Touchdesigner artists who use TD not for development but for making their art, their art performances, A/V performances, installations, etc. i am really wondering how it can be actually useful for those massive numbers of people who use TD for art creation rather than development. I listened and watched to both of your latest LOPs presentations, and got really confused how they are actually useful for digital and interactive artists. Can you give a clear and detailed explanation if you know? Cause it seems like you tried to answer some of it but actually i don’t think you answered any of that kind of questions. Thanks very much.
