Ad-Free Early Access: Video will go live late afternoon Thursday August 27th (PST time)

I'm SOOOO sorry for the lack of early access this month. And this one is going to be a little shorter than usual but I figure it's better than nothing!! Will try to do better in September.

Also, Part 7 of the iceberg is with Taylor being edited right now! So it should be out in the next couple of days :)

Girl, great video! I am so trusting that I would fall for something like this I fear. I would also be the first one to join a cult 😭🤪 I've never been desperate enough to actually reach out to a psychic so I guess I can't say I never would but I loved hearing your perspective of this

this is looooong, so i apologize lol. TL;DR: my late cousin's widow is talking to a medium. although psychics and mediums are often bad, they can on occasion be helpful + an experience with my friend's medium mother that makes me think that mediums may sometimes be legit -- my dad and i recently had a whole conversation about psychic and mediums. my cousin passed away last year and a few months ago my dad told me his wife (now widow) is now talking to a medium (we don't know how/where she found the medium and if she's being charged or not). my dad asked me my opinion and turns out we have pretty much the same one (which is also very similar to yours). we don't really think it's legit, but then again there's a chance it could be because it's just one of those things that are just unknown and you kinda never know. i think that usually it's a sham, but on the rare occasion it seems pretty legit. we also think that sometimes it can be helpful to people to help them cope, but it's a very fine line and quite often can make things worse for the person. it's way too often that you see psychics & psychic mediums involved in awful shit (whether it be knowingly or not) that causes trauma to the people they're supposed to be helping. i do think it is very possible to do it in a way to help the person, but it's difficult and imo only someone with some kind of mental health training should be involved in the practice, especially regarding recent passings and such. my dad and i don't really wanna bring it up to her though and just let her talk about it herself without someone else bringing it up since she's obviously still grieving. we just hope that the medium she's seeing is doing it ethically and in a way that will help her rather than hurt her something that really brings into question the legitimacy of mediums for me though is an experience i personally had. it makes me believe a little more. I have a friend (who i'll call K) whose mom (who has since passed away) was a medium (i'll call her T). we (my mom and i) do believe she was legit in the way that she just kind of knew things. she would only reach out to people she is friends or family with and i don't even think she would do like what you think when you picture a medium. she'd just kind of be like "oh, (insert loved one) is there and they love you so much" or "you have a spirit around you/in your home/etc." and that would be about it, so she was ethical about it. my strongest memory of T's supposed clairvoyance was her bringing up that my childhood house (which we were living in at the time) was haunted by a young girl, about 5 or 6 years old. my mom and i had always suspected our house was haunted by a little girl since we had heard giggling and voices that sounded like a girl around 5 years old or so, among other things that had us thinking this. we had never told T about this, other than mentioning some weird things that happened but never anything regarding specifics (it's been so long since, but i'm almost certain that I or my mom, or even my dad never mentioned anything about a little girl). that was pretty wild to us, because like how did she know? she had been to our house many times to drop off/pick up K and for dinner and stuff (without us having any noticeable experiences, at least to me). T didn't tell us this until we were about to move because she didn't want to scare us (especially my mom lol). I think what T mainly did was talk to the spirits themselves without doing it for someone else, like with someone's loved one. for example, she was the manager at a historic site (one of california's original adobes) that was known to be haunted. K said that T would often go talk to the spirits when she was locking up the house, mainly one named espiritu who was known to often be in her bedroom (the house on the adobe is a museum and her room is one of the exhibits). T would always say hi to her when she felt her presence and tell her she hopes she's doing well, and then would say goodbye when she (T) was leaving every time. it was sweet to see that she cared so much about people she never knew who passed over 100 years ago and that she wanted to make sure they were happy in their afterlife. even if ghosts aren't real, it was just incredibly kind and heartwarming and makes me feel better about the state of humanity lol. i'd witnessed her do it sometimes (K and I would often go there after school and then go to her house after T was done with work, so we would usually be there when she was closing up) and her voice was always so sweet and calm and caring when she would talk to the spirits. brings a smile to my face now :) since T passed, K said that she can sometimes feel her around and that she feels comforted by her. she (K) said that when she's feeling down she sometimes smells T's perfume and can feel her hugging her. K and I aren't super in touch as of recent since she moved and got married and stuff but i wonder if K is able to talk to T now. when we were little, K could usually sense the presence of spirits but couldn't communicate with them. now that we're almost in our 30s i wonder if K's senses developed more and if she can now do what T did

See I would TOTALLY go to a psychic like that if I knew someone who had a legit experience like that. Especially because 17 years ago would definitely be before social media like we have today!

I have just watched the video. Damn! I am definitely not in the know of the subject media-wise. Have heard and actually have been read by a psychic when I was very young. I believe she was legit just because it was in my hometown back in Moldova, 17 years ago, when social media wasn’t so spread among older generations. And she was an older oldschool lady. She was on point about so many things that I literally still remember her words to this day. Like the stuff she couldn’t know because no way! Also, what really caught my attention was the fact that when I walked in, she never said “hi” or “what brought you here?”, she literally said first words “show me his picture”. Like amazing, right? 😆 She literally read my mind! She was like one in a million, but… overall I’m very skeptical! One more pair of scammers comes to mind are Cody and Satori 🤣

Yeah I kind of really want to go to one and lie and see if they can catch it lol. I probably would never have the guts to do that but I fantasize about it sometimes. I'll look into the others! Sounds interesting

Great topic! I have loved ones who fall for the hot & cold techniques as being genuine psychic abilities. And few years ago, after I did my only psych session and told them that I wasn’t really impressed. The room got really quiet. And you could literally hear crickets. I am wondering if you do another video like this if you could touch on recent ones like John Edwards or Sylvia Browne controversies where they were really big with talk shows in the 90s & 00s. And show that this is not a new thing. “Where people are fools, there is gold to be made.”
