September Preview & Voting - Meet the Roilsea Corsairs

It’s that time again! Read on for a glimpse at the Pirates that inhabit Doaden’s high seas, and the chance to decide what collection we’ll be working on next!

Before we go further, let’s drop that link to the voting - whatever you choose here will be part of the October Collection, alongside the return of a scaly menace from the primeval, formative days of Bestiarum. We can’t wait see what you’ll pick!

Change - Voting is now Multiple Choice! So you won’t need to make such a difficult decision between two ideas that excite you!

Right, let’s dive into the briny deeps and check out these Pirates!

The Roilsea Corsairs

The dangers of the ocean are clear to even the casual observer, vicious storms, maelstromous waves and dread leviathans eager await the unwary. Those who chose to ply their trade in this deadly domain are possessed of both incredible skill, and insane self-belief - enter the Roilsea Corsairs, a loose confederation of pirates and sailors living beyond the bounds of Azerai’s Iron Rule.

Armed with an eclectic arsenal of weapons and equipment, the Captain boasts an obnoxiously enormous long rifle, wielded with the help of a body harness, granting her a full three pairs of arms, each capable of terrifying agility and careful manipulation in both steering her vessel and violent arts.

Ironclad like his own charge’s mighty hull, the First Mate has augmented much of his already considerable bulk with a host of mechanical marvels evoking the work of the Technomagi of Allstein.

A wide array of caste, creed and character exist amongst then ranks of the corsairs, unconcerned with borders and the squabbles of landlubbers, all that matters to the Roilsea Corsairs is talent upon the waves and with a blade.

Cannoneers often serve as quartermasters and weaponsmiths aboard their vessels. Dispensing weaponry as necessary, and most importantly, keeping careful control over the mightier artillery, lest a disquiet crew grow tempted to mutiny.

There you have it - a brand new faction coming to the shores of Doaden, what do you think? We’re looking forward to sharing the renders for these charmers, and Deadmire Part 2, later this month!

Don’t forget to cast your vote too, we’ll be leaving the polls open for only a few days, so make your voice heard while you can!

Just adding, with the focus on NPC's and townsfolk, I'd LOVE to see some bestiarum livestock. Slightly weird and monstrous chickens, pigs, sheep etc

Always good to hear this! I'm sure this won't be the last we see of Dark Denizens, or the Wilds!
