Good to hear the web version works! That means freezing won't be a consistent problem with the game. If you open the downloaded .swf in Adobe Flash player instead of with a browser it should work. Hopefully the bugs in the sound engine will be gone soon :3

It seems like the swf version tries to load up, but fails to load any assets at all. It is just the brown background that shows up for a moment before the game usually loads. I hope any of that was helpful.
