Huh? What?

Wow! A post from your favorite creator, Ancho? Is such a thing even possible?!

You may remember months back I mentioned my circumstances were changing and my time to work on FV would be limited. Well, I was right. I've got less free time than ever, and progress has been slow.

Progress you say? Show me then!

Right... well that's the thing... you've heard of writer's block right?

You've got to be kidding me?! NO! Come on Ancho! Come ON bro!

I'm not totally stuck! I'm not! I swear!

We trusted you!

I'm not stuck!

And while I work to get the story figured... I've been... productive?

That's right. Every fan's greatest dream... the artist revisiting his early chapters in a vain attempt to smooth the jarring quality of artwork that he can no longer even look at without suppressing a violent gagging sensation in-

You get the idea.

So I've been working through all of Ch 1's art "revamping" while trying not to completely rework things. The animations, however, have to be redone completely because those first ones just... just no. I've also fixed some typos and changed the title screen again. Impressive, huh?

So, there you have it. What're your thoughts? Does David look less egg-headed now? Does Sarah look more like you imagined she should? Does Sasha sway in ways you never dreamt possible? Do you... do you even care bro? *Sniff*

If I had to spin this more positively, I'd say this improved art is going to make the early chapters better. I'd say those chapters are going to scare away fewer potential fans, and ultimately that's going to generate the support this project needs to survive. But honestly, I don't know. I do know that I need more time to get the story figured out. To understand how to effectively move things forward without becoming a wandering, web comic type saga.

And while I take that time to think and write, I'll be squeezing in as much art revamp as I can so that things don't stall out or cool off.

Let me know how this all strikes you in the comments. I know it's a lot to digest. Thanks as ever for your support, interest, and patience.

Agent Smith, 'It was inevitable.' Sooner or later an artist will revisit their early work, it cannot be help. I understand the compulsion that drives that. I'm an artist myself, also a musician (guitar, bass, drums, keys) with a home studio. The animations from latest chapters, no doubt are far superior than the early ones. Getting those up to par would be a welcome, I know having consistency throughout this wonderful story is badge of pride in one's work. Oh, and don't scare us with that 'writers block' stuff! Not even funny. ;-) Thanks for the check-in!
