YouTube Built-in Thumbnail Tester
Added 2024-07-08 10:47:08 +0000 UTCYouTube now allows you to upload three thumbnails at once and helps you test out which thumbnail gets the best result. I have been doing that manually for the past few years, changing out my thumbnail every now and then, and hoping that it drives new traffic to the video and I've seen videos suddenly doing well after playing around with the titles and thumbnails even after a few months to a year later.
I'm pleased that YouTube has this feature built-in now, which makes life a lot easier for me. It will auto-select the best thumbnail after the test is complete. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a title tester yet, so I can't wait for that too lol.
Because I don't post frequently, each video is important to me as a creator. I want to reach as many of you as possible, regardless of whether the video is a year or two years old. It still means a lot to me, and if it resonates with you, then I'm already more than happy! As I like to say, if it works it works :)
