2025-03-10 21:25:52 +0000 UTCI will say two things, both for Spawn, but your video was great! First off, Death Battle undersold just how much pain and suffering Spawn goes through in his story. I was genuinely surprised by how the dark and twisted stuff wasn't brought up, especially since it heavily affected Al's character. I still think the analysis is great, but to answer why it felt for you that Spawn's story was kinda "basic" it's because they were skimming through the vast majority of it (and also barely mentioned anything of what happens AFTER Spawn fights God and Satan, because yeah that's only the first half of the story lol). Also, to answer your question about Leetha, to be clear, she is NOT just the cloak but is, in fact, the whole suit that Spawn wears. They actually do say that in the episode, but I understand the confusion since they emphasized the cloak being red (which is still an insanely cool detail).
