This drove me into tears too. Seeing how these people got inspired by the Straw Hats whose characters are bigger than life just hits different. You can feel how much heart they've poured in making this one. Actually, I'm not sure if Oda's the one who wrote this special episode. But I know this was directed by Megumi Ishitani---the same one who made the epic episode 1015. No wonder this episode is so beautiful that it felt like an actual love letter to One Piece fans 🥺
