Oh god, I honestly teared up when she said "it's better to be born a cow than a woman" - damn, that hurt. Unfortunately, quite a bit of more traditional places around the world are still like that or close to that. Also, thanks for the history lesson - I always enjoy those as you know I'm a fan of history and politics (especially 20th century) and I knew most of the things you said if not all, but it's nice to refresh the memory or summarize it in a wider perspective.
