Thank you for the 4 episode drop, yay! I know it's starting to get harder to stop watching HxH. The cliffhangers each ep are insane lol. Same with you though, I really love how Togashi build up Chimera Ant. I think the pacing is very well done too (despite of other ppl complaining about it lol). But another thing that I love about this arc is... they introduced this chimera ants as demon-like creatures who are a big threat to humans. But now, these chimera ants are starting to remember their human memories, and some are also starting to show humanity. This might challenge Gon, Killua---and even the other hunters moral compass. The characters are very complex which I really love.

2025-04-22 15:26:24 +0000 UTCI 100% agree, Nen is one of anime's best "magic" systems for lack of a better term, it essentially allows for any particular character to do whatever they want, but if anyone can do anything then all battles become wars of information and intel. It's got this real cerebral edge to it, and the narrator is a super interesting way for the anime to adapt those manga text bubbles, plus they can do fun stuff like hype up Komugi too. All I will say is that I look forward to the upcoming episodes, and I am glad you are digging the arc so far. I had a feeling you would like this one back when the first HxH reactions dropped.
