This dev build is now available to all supporters for a sneak peek at what’s coming next in WTM Academy!
!! This version is still work-in-progress, not feature-complete and probably buggy as hell, but it includes major groundwork for the upcoming Places and Toy Update !!
What's New in 0.41_DEV:
🏫 New Academy Areas + Top-Down Map
The Academy is getting bigger! Several new explorable areas are available now with full 3D renders and time-of-day variations.
A top-down map helps with navigation (WIP – some places are only accessible via the map or point-and-click for now, but both methods will work at the end).
🎀 Plugs Are In (Technically!)
The procedural plug system is fully functional, just not implemented in the gameplay yet.
If you want to see them now:
→ Go to MC Apartment → Settings → GLOBAL DEBUG → Plug TEST
Other Major Updates:
Image system reworked to use composite + transforms (improved performance + layering support)
Classroom visuals improved
Graduation now uses new visuals + kinky exhib/exposure scene (quite unfinished)
Photoclub scenes also updated with the new render system
This time, only "kinda let me know if you run into issues" as some parts will be buggy due to the map being WIP and bypassing a lot of checks for now.
