Hi guys!

Yes, I'm still alive despite not being heard from for a long time, but I assure you there were good reasons behind my silence. I wanted to wait as long as necessary to be sure I could write to you with the certainty of what awaits us in the near future.

At the beginning of the year, I had to follow a particularly strict medical treatment which, at first, kept me on a hospital bed for about a month, and then made me stay in my bed at home for another three months. What I've been through in this 2023 has been an incredibly difficult and complex period, but the worst is finally over.

At the moment I'm still quite debilitated and I can't make any physical efforts (with the exception of some daily exercises needed to get back on my feet), but according to the doctors who followed me, I should be back fully strong and able to do… well, what I want, starting from the end of September.

Yes, unfortunately I'm not here to tell you that I've already returned to work, but on the other hand I can confirm that I will be operational again at the end of September. I apologize for the total silence of these months, but honestly I preferred to completely pause (at least momentarily) all my commitments to think only about my recovery, even when I started to feel better.

I would like to specify immediately that the reactivation of payments will not take place in September. As I already told you in February, I will reactivate payments only when the new update for the game is actually ready and available. When I resume development of Nex(e)us Institute at the end of September, you will therefore have to wait a little longer before its new version is published, but now at least I can tell you with certainty that it will arrive.

Speaking of development, I also wanted to clarify a small doubt that some had raised when the work stopped. In fact, several (subscribers and non-subscribers) have written to me privately over the last few months to ask me why "the whole team" stopped working when my health conditions worsened, not carrying out the project while I was absent. Well, the answer is actually very simple and I write it directly here so that it is clear for everyone… there is no team, I am the only one working on Nex(e)us Institute. Perhaps for some this was obvious, but since many have asked the same question, I hope I have clarified the situation.
