A very BIG News (April 2, 2025)

So guys, let's start right away with the news you've all been waiting for. The new Nex(e)us Institute update will be available on April 16th.

That said, let's now move on to the real big news of the day, what we could define as a very important leap forward for this project... and let's start with an admission of guilt.

When I first started developing this game, I honestly didn't have a clear plan on what I wanted to do. Of course I had some ideas, but most of the time I was just working on taking things day by day.

Because of this, the entire project has gotten bigger and more complicated than I thought, resulting in development difficulties that I wasn't prepared for (especially since this was the very first game I've ever worked on, with literally zero knowledge on the subject). I thought I could handle it all on my own, but between health issues and work needs, development times have gotten incredibly long, with even long periods of total work stoppages. The situation has slowly become more and more complicated as Nex(e)us Institute has grown, without me being able to find a solution... at least until now.

In fact, I can officially confirm, after several weeks of preparation, that starting today I will have a collaborator who will support me in the development of the game. Through his help, the goal will be to always have, on a daily basis, someone who can take care of the project so that a more or less prolonged unforeseen event does not lead to a total block of the work. The intention is not to speed up development per se, but to avoid further prolonged pauses in the future, while ensuring that new updates arrive regularly from month to month.

Over the past few months, many people have contacted me asking about the future of the project, and several others have rightly highlighted concerns about how everything was being carried forward. I waited to give precise answers until I was sure of the situation, and now that we have finally reached that point, I can answer you.

This is undoubtedly the biggest step forward I have made for the future of Nex(e)us Institute, so I thank all those who have decided to "wait for me" and who have trusted the game over the years. From now on, perhaps, finally, the work should proceed much more smoothly.
