That's a good reason to use short hair, avoiding the physics! But am hoping to make it more routine, and use longer hair where it makes sense.
The ponytail movement in past videos was by eye-- me figuring how it would move, not calculated by the computer. When it is a simple swinging ponytail that usually works fine.
I have the 120fps videos ready to go, might not post full 3:35 versions of them but something like a 1 minute sample. Haven't gotten any requests for them yet.
