Hey there!
As some of you might know, I work for Ringtail Café, a company that does merch and mystery boxes for conventions and the furry fandom at large. This year we were tasked with the visual design for Megaplex! I hope if any of you were there, you had a blast!
I did two main things: character designs and fresh refsheets, and layout art for towels, shirts and the playmat. These then went on to be inked, painted and formatted by the rest of the talented artists on our team!
These are the behind the scenes sketches and layouts! I posted the finished artwork that was at the con publicly on my twitter.
The characters of Pounce and Typhon were already fully developed, and I just did the art. Trinket, Bowie, Ursula and Glamour I had more of a hand in- I was delivered some rough sketches and information by our main artist, and I got to do rounds of sketches until we reached the final designs.
Although I did not directly talk to anyone at Megaplex, as that's handled by Ringtail, I got their feedback and they were super open to suggestions! I'm specially thrilled they liked the idea of Bowie having a prosthetic leg, as well as Trinket's silly glasses.
