painting study
Added 2024-11-30 21:01:09 +0000 UTCI am on my painting training arc. I always wanted to be better at it but I've shied away from it out of fear of a bad outcome. I've watch Devin Korwin's Light and material lecture and it helped me a lot to understand more how light works. I want to create more meaningful and impactful work, whether it be more useful concept art, or to make all the half-life fan art paintings I have sitting in my head. I'm pretty proud of this considering thinking I was shit at colors, but I'm pretty confident with values I will say. I think I could've done a lot worse here starting out. I've attached the full length timelapse.
